With the Mysterium Crucis wooden crucifixes of Filippo Brunelleschi and Donatello, along with carved by the young Michelangelo Buonarroti Holy Spirit, has been exposed in the Baptistery of San Giovanni, in a exposition, as to study the sacred sense of exposure of these great works.
The three crosses were sculpted by their authors, even though there were no certainties yet the powers, life-size and considering the Christ represented in the mosaic of the Baptistery of San Giovanni emerges here is that the deep bond that the four works of art have to the city of Florence and for the whole world.
