Pisa: the genius of Andy Warhol is sold out!
by Nadia Fondelli – Up to 2 February 2014 Pop Part Pisa is the capital of hosting more than one hundred and fifty works from dall’Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh , and numerous American and European collections , will trace the artist’s creative development which has greatly revolutionized the art of the twentieth century.
After the exhibitions dedicated to Chagall , Miró , Picasso and Kandinsky , led to Pisa than 300,000 visitors over the four years of art and culture BLU Palace opens its doors this year to creative art of Andy Warhol with that which is already one of the highlights of the autumn – winter 2013-2014 in Italy.
The exhibition, curated by Walter Guadagnini and Claudia Beltramo Ceppi, presents about 150 works , including 20 Polaroid photographs , providing a survey of the author’s creative journey which has so revolutionized the art of the twentieth century , thanks to the collaboration with the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh , which contains a large part of his legacy dl , and the support of some of the historic collections , such as those of the galleries Sonnabend , Feldman, Goodman in New York, of European museums like the Museum of modern and Contemporary Art Berardo in Lisbon , the Museum of Modern Art in Nice, the Albertina and the MUMOK in Vienna , as well as some masterpieces by Italian public and private collections , such as the collection Lucio Amelio or the UniCredit Collection .
