Pistoia:

A place like this could not be born in Pistoia, the Italian territory has always been dedicated to this production, thanks to the family Vannucci, whose tradition dates back to 1938 in the nursery sector and that has always stood for the particular sensitivity to the importance and respect of the plants as a fundamental tool for the ecosystem and human life.

The inauguration was a veritable feast in which there is not even the inauguration of the artist Claudio Parmiggiani The hands that hold the hours, a column made of Carrara marble, about 15 meters high, commissioned specially who will talk to the park permanently, in perfect harmony with the beauty of the trees that surround it.

An area of over 10 hectares, where the paths break the soft and irregular geometries we are used to find a home and where large specimens of plants, over a thousand, among the most beautiful and scenic existing expertly matched to varieties, species, color and height.

Here are arranged, to mention only a few species, Maples of a different nature from those native to the Japanese as the Acer campestre, Albizie, Birches, four varieties of Ippocastani, large shrubs of Arbutus, Bagolari, Ash, Plane trees, poplars, oaks , willows, lindens, a specimen of Broussonetia papyrifera, Carpini and Catalpa, the imposing Cedars, the Dogwood, the Liquidambar, the king of autumn colors, and still Mulberries, Walnuts, Meli, large specimens of magnolias and large Allori.

The Pistoia Nursery Park has the feature to change the time, the plants “they stop” in the park waiting to find their permanent home in some garden of the world, giving an opportunity to landscape architect to imagine concretely the future position of the different sheets . Until that time, however, will be the protagonists of the scene in all their majestic beauty, in a review of botanical species, sizes, and behaviors unique.
