Fiesole: escursione al Convento della Maddalena, un gioiello ritrovatoFiesole: excursion to the fantastic Monastery of La Maddalena newly restored

di redazione – Domenica 21 ottobre con prenotazione obbligatorio entro venerdì 19 ottobre torna a mostrarsi, dopo tanti anni di chiusura al pubblico per un importante e complesso restauro, il complesso del Convento di Santa Maria Maddalena chiamato anche “Conventino”.

“Il ritrovato Convento della Maddalena” è anche un escursione in programma per domenica prossima e che rientra nell’iniziativa “Fiesole: escursioni fra natura e cultura” organizzata dal comune (fa parte delle attività del Progetto Regionale “Osservatori Turistici di Destinazione”).

Dopo aver ammirato la chiesa e la sua loggia l’itinerario porterà a uno stretto stradello, che segue il corso di un vicino torrente, alla scoperta di antichi mulini, in funzione già dal medioevo, fino ad arrivare alla Chiesa di Montereggi, che ospita una grande tavola cinquecentesca di Alessandro Fei del Barbiere.

“Il ritrovato Convento della Maddalena”, come le altre escursioni in calendario, si svolge la domenica mattina dalle 9 alle 12 circa. I partecipanti sono accompagnati da esperti che oltre a illustrare il percorso fanno conoscere i siti più importanti che via via si presenteranno lungo il cammino.
