Semproniano: alla scoperta del Castello del Templari Semproniano: discovery of the Castle of the Templars

Several theories suggest attendance stable of the Castle by the Knights of the Order of the Temple. Besides the support offered by a number of recordings – such as the cross of the Temple of the Church of Santa Cristina – could substantiate the thesis that the Castle of Ronchette is along the main route marked by the River Albegna, followed by the pilgrims who came from the Abbey of San Salvatore Amiata to the port of Telamon to embark on the route of Jerusalem.

The ‘Ring, which for the visit to the village is enriched with intriguing stories about the mysterious Knights Templar and interpretation of the signs of their passage in the present church building is very attractive from the point of view of nature for scenic and picturesque spots offering long local roads and trails.
